Full/Blue Moon Eclipse NYE

Wow, a Full/Blue Moon Eclipse to bring in 2010! We will not have another one until 2028! This is the 13th full moon of 2009.

So what does this mean for us? Well, we tend to be more emotional during a Full Moon. Because of the flux in the electromagnetic field, it creates a disturbance and we feel emotional and our whole environment feels "off." So as you go through the day and you feel like your head is in the clouds and fuzzy, just remember what is happening astrologically. Also don't be surprised if you feel over emotional about ending the decade or starting a new one. Blame it on the moon!

But look at the bright side, with this Full/New Moon Eclipse, we will be breaking up some lodged blockages which will allow for some much needed freedom. As you let go of these blockages, you will encounter some creative abilities you didn't know you had.

Lastly, since we have a special NYE this year, astrologically speaking, we have the ability to look forward and see what the next couple years have in store for us. Even if you have never tried this before, sit today and meditate on what is in store for yourself for the next 2 years. You may surprise yourself what you get. Write it down and review it from time to time to see how close you came!

Happy New Years! I hope 2010 brings nothing but love, prosperity and good times!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of our followers! Usually at this time of year you get a little sad thinking about all of the loved ones that have passed on. This year, following our normal Christmas Eve tradition, we had my father's family over. I have taken on the responsibility to prepare the Christmas Eve feast that my paternal grandmother had prepared for years. I have used her recipes and not changed one thing since she transitioned 4 and 1/2 years ago. Every Christmas Eve morning, at the crack of dawn, I get up and start preparing. I usually make her sugar wafers at this time because if I made them earlier, everyone would eat them and there would be none for our Christmas Eve feast. This year, I used her cookie cutters to make the sugar wafers.

I rolled out the dough and as I was cutting out the cookies, I could feel her presence with me. It was the most wonderful Christmas present I could have received. I could feel her in my soul. The coldness that penetrated me went down to my bones. This was not a draft or a breeze. This coldness penetrated by being. Anyone who has ever felt a spirit knows what I am talking about. It is something you will never forget and it is something that you have never felt before. It also comes with a knowing that the loved one is there. She also gave me a message. I clearly heard in her voice that she loved me and thanked me for taking care of my grandfather. This is something that I have been waiting for since the day she left us. I knew she would come to me and she finally did. What a Christmas treat.

I hope all of you who have lost someone dear to you receive the same type of gift. My family means the world to me and to get validation that they are still with me when they leave is a great comfort to me. I'm not going to lie, I am a bit greedy and I want more communication. As a human, I have to learn that those on the other plane have a different time frame than we do here on Earth!

Until next time, Happy Holidays and expect miracles. Now is the time when what we expect comes true!

Current Investigaitons

Investigation #1
On October 14, 2009 we investigated the McCarthy house in Centreville. You may know the house if you live in Centreville - it's the "haunted house." No, literally, it is totally decorated to the nines for Halloween. The house was built in 1800. Allegedly, the spirit of the old caretaker still roams the house. Also, his daughter, Helen, is supposed to run the steps to the 3rd floor bedrooms.
The picture above is the front of the house. This picture was taken by a professional photographer. Notice the white misty "thing" in front of the door. This was the only picture of the group like this. Interesting. Our crew definitely all had some unusual experiences while we were there. It was a little confusing because we were taping a show for the local cable station but nonetheless, we all felt something. We were able to get a couple of pictures with orbs in them and our video camera kept going in and out of focus. There were plenty of orbs on the quad-cam as well. I guess the best piece of evidence was the EVP we got in one of the bedrooms with the video camera. You can hear us downstairs giving a camera tour and when you hear us say we are going up to the 3rd floor bedrooms, you hear a female voice. We have listened and listened to it and we cannot make out what it is saying.

Investigation #2
On October 24th we went back to our trusty historic building in Centreville where we always pick up some things. The only thing we got this time was 2 EVPs that, for the life of me, I cannot figure out what they are saying. They are posted on our website under EVPs. The website is http://www.easternshoreghosts.com.

So, if you have a haunted establishment or know someone who does, let us know. We are starting to collect research for a book on the haunted places on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. My goal in the near future is to do an investigation at the Kent Manor Inn! How cool would that be??

Until next time...Happy Haunting!

Welcome to our 1st Blog!

Ok, so we were told to start a blog and people would follow. Now comes the real test....will they follow....

We've been quiet for a while working on individual projects and recently emerged with new investigations. Dr.Diane and I will be looking to write some paranormal books as soon as I finish my dissertation, which, is quite soon, I might add.

We will be starting research on the hauntings in and around Queen Anne's County. This, hopefully, will be the first of many projects we will dive into. So, if you have some tales we can investigate, by all means, let us know. We are also up for some local investigations. If you or someone you know has a haunted establishment, fill out our request form on our website: http://www.easternshoreghosts.com.

Until then, happy haunting...
