Child Ghost

As most of you know I have taken on a new position as a Principal of a rather new school. The land was an old farm and a worker was killed on the premises while the school was being built. This being said, never has there been mention of a child dying near or on the land. But it's a school, right?

Well, I was in a meeting with my leadership team last week. We were very engaged hammering out work that was due. All of a sudden, my chair started vibrating and we ALL heard a little child laughing. It was rather unnerving - even for a big bad ghost hunter. It was like the sounds in the movie Poltergeist - kind of in between two dimensions. A colleague mentioned it sounded like Chuckie running through the room laughing. One of them suggested it was a mouse so we got up and looked. Now, I knew it wasn't a mouse for two reasons. One, I felt it there before it all started, and two, do you know how big that mouse had to be to make my chair vibrate like that? Just saying.

So we knew we wouldn't be able to solve it so back to work we went. Not even 5 minutes passed and it happened again. Talk about distracting! We sat and talked about that for a couple of minutes before being able to get back to work. We never really focused after that. Two of them pulled out their ghost detectors on the iPads and phones and I was constantly trying to hone in on what had just happened.

As much as I try to separate work from "my work," it just seems to keep meshing together all the time. Eventually I am just going to have to admit this is who I am and this is what happens to me. So when can I put on my professional resume...Doctor of Education....sees and talks to ghosts. Oh what a day that will be! Until then, I guess I'll just deal with it and post about it here.

And the iPad saga continues...

So before I begin this blog there are a few facts you must know. First, my brother is a professional firefighter. He is a captain of an engine. One of my grandfathers is deceased and my sister-in-law's father, George, is deceased. Ok, now the background is set.

After reading my last iPad blog, my sister-in-law and brother download the app for the Droid. Yes, it will even work on the Droid...bad thing for me to find out. My brother has the app running and it is saying some weird non-related words because it is warming up. For hours after the initial warm-up, it says nothing. My brother continues to let it run and as he goes through his living room, it says "grandfather". So now my brother is intrigued because we only have been waiting to hear from Pap for 7 years now! It then says "captain" followed by "engine". Getting a little freaked out, my brother asks, "So who am I really talking to?" What does it answer???? "George".

Coincidence? I think not. The great thing about all of this is not that my sister-in-law's father came through, but that he came though during a time when she really needed to hear from him. They are there and we can communicate with them we just have to listen.

Where's the Manual?

Sometimes it's frustrating. I keep getting signs about what I am supposed to do next but there's one thing...."they" keep forgetting to tell me how to accomplish it! So who is the proverbial "they?" My team of guides....my posse so-to-speak. Is it rude to ask the spiritual world to be just a little more clear? I mean seriously....I am only human. They can't expect me or anyone else to be able to understand clues like them, right???

There should be a manual....How to Read Your Guides, and Other Celestial Beings. At first, getting signs is kind of new and exciting. Let's play Figure Out the Sign game.I have spent many a lunch hour debating the meaning of signs with my friend, only to be more confused when I was done. I always have heard from my mentors that when "they" are trying to tell you something, "they" are relentless until they get your attention! Well, I believe it. Now "they" have my attention.....so be more specific.

It's almost like I'm spiritually stupid or something....reallly? Ok...book....publish....a publisher even called....duh...write your book already. But honestly, which one? I'm in the middle of 2...fiction and non-fiction. I have a feeling...not a sign...that it is the non-fiction that I am supposed to finish first. But being the whiny human that I am, the fiction is soooo much more fun. But here we go, I keep hearing...."Now Angie, you know that is true, but how many people can you help with your non-fiction book vs. your fiction book?"

So now I'm getting guilt trips from the other side plus they've gone and given me an idea for the follow-up book. No one said this work would be easy. No one said all the answers would be supplied to me even though I am listening! And I guess all the answers all being supplied, I just have to figure out the "HOW" part.

I'm sure everyone who communicates with the spirit realm has gone through this, but I'm to the point now where I'm tired and don't want to figure it out for myself! So now I've realized I am whiny and lazy and need to finish my books. Maybe that is why I felt such the urge to write this blog this morning. Maybe that is why all the animals are leaving me alone with my coffee this morning. I have been given the time to think and figure out the signs. Wow...5 paragraphs later and I figured it out. Maybe this will be my manual.

New iPad app

I would like to think of myself as technologically saavy. Ok, I am very technologically saavy. But to say that I rely on technology for everything is not correct. My daughter told me about a iPad app that she had seen called Ghost Radar. So for .99, I downloaded it, expecting it to be a game app or something.

As it warms up, I read all about the app and the FAQs. All of a sudden, it starts spitting out random words. Ok, I shouldn't say random words...they were words describing what my daughter and I were doing at the time. A little freaky to say the least! I immediately text my fellow ESPSer and tell her about this app and that she HAD to download it. It was late and she really wasn't in the frame of mind to tackle it at that time but told me she'd look into it the next day.

I had taken off work the following day because we were having work done on our heat pump. So I did not have to get up and moving as early as usual. I drank an extra cup of coffee and played with the dogs....very relaxing. After my daughter went to school, I went up to take a shower. Against my better judgment, I decided to turn on the Ghost Radar while I was in the shower. I figured I'd see what was in my room, which has a lot of energy, while I was preoccupied. It initially spit some words out describing the room...piano (which I have in my room)...listen...pets (which were all there)...etc. So I chuckled and went to take a shower.

I was anxious to see what, if anything, I captured. So with towel wrapped around me, I went and peeked at the iPad. I had captured the word June. That is my deceased grandmother's middle name so I was really getting excited about maybe getting some kind of message. So I immediately texted my friend again and told her she HAD to download the app NOW. As I was texting it said...dress...so I ran in and started getting dressed. I was only partially dressed when she texted me back so I ran in to check my message. As I was texting her back, the iPad said....faster...I laughed and went in to finish getting dressed. My friend answered my text so I went to check it again...only getting as far as a pair of jeans on and it says...more...

By this time I was cracking up. I was being told what to do by an entity that obviously did not like to see me undressed! I carried the iPad around with me during the day and went about my daily business. I did everything I usually do except when I felt a presence around me I found myself looking at the screen of the iPad. Sure enough, within seconds of me feeling a presence, a little colored light would show up on the radar screen. Sometimes it spoke and sometimes it didn't.

This app is supposed to work under the same idea as an EMF or K2 meter. It is interesting how the words that are formulated coincide with things that are happening in the room or about to happen. Many other things

Visitors and Passerbys

After the death of a friend a few weeks ago, it is amazing how you can still feel his presence. In this particular case, many of my friends, sensitive and not, can feel his presence. Unfortunately, he isn't too pleased to be where he is and is letting each of us know it.

All of us have visits from him in our dreams. He passed away from an aggressive form of cancer at age 60 and is not accepting the situation. He is still present at work, moving books off of shelves when we discuss him. He is even moving things in my house. How do I know it is him you ask? I know. I can feel him. I can hear him and I can see him in my mind's eye.

The last thing that happened was that I threw away last week's news paper in my bathroom trash can. I had just told him aloud that he needed to move on and that him moving things about was not helping matters. I took a shower and when I got out, the newspaper was standing up in the trash can so that the front page was facing out. What did I see? Yea, his picture and news article about his death.

A couple of us have tried to steer him toward the light, with no avail. Sometimes some of us just are not ready to accept our fate. With this I have to add that the ego is the major culprit. The ego keeps us here and does not let us go to the light. Even as humans, the ego keeps us stuck in one place and does not let us grow. So the morale of this story is to deflate the ego. It is at no use to us here on Earth and it definitely no use to use to us in the spirit realm.

Investigation at Rock Hall

We will be going out to Rock Hall again this evening for Investigation #2. We caught a lot of anomalies last time and we are going back in hopefully, to back-up what we caught last time.

I will be posting tomorrow our findings.

Until then,
Happy Haunting from Angie and the rest of the Eastern Shore Paranormal Society

I NEED YOUR HELP!

Glorious Morning and Happy Easter to All of You!

I am now thinking that this it is a little ironic that I am about ready to roll this out on Easter Morning – a little metaphorical I would like to think. Anyway, I have listened to the advice of many of you and started the process of writing the book. To help me manifest this a little quicker – because you all know I am not a patient person by any stretch of the imagination, I have entered a writing competition. The grand prize – a book contract. I have entered The Next Top Spiritual Author competition.

I had to submit an audio or video pitch in round 1. All you have to do to help me is vote. So here is my pitiful plea. Please go on the website (link provided below) and watch my book pitch and vote for me. That’s all you have to do. If you feel the urge to pass this message to everyone you know and his or her brother, I would be grateful! This is my way of making my dream a reality and this competition will keep me on a very tight schedule.

The competition’s main website (in case you want to check it out) is http://www.nexttopauthor.com.

Thank you in advance for helping me make my dream a reality. I never knew how therapeutic writing all of these things down was going to be. I have not felt this liberated in a long long time!

I am also posting this on Face Book so you might get this message twice.

With Much Love,

~Angie~
